Seahawk: Pitch Estimation and Setting

The following chart allows you to estimate the pitch on
an existing fixed blade propeller (an approximation only!)
Simply match the angle of the blade at 3/4 of the propeller diameter.
(A 20" would be 7 1/2" from the centre or 2 1/2" from the blade tip)
Match the propeller diameter with the angle in degrees and read off the corresponding pitch.

NOTE: When setting an Autostream feathering propeller to a theoretical pitch, it is usual to add 1" of pitch to compensate for the flat blade characteristics.
