- The install went off without a hitch. We were all impressed by the quality of this prop.
- Put it in the water on Sat. I saw a perfect match to my drivetrain -- a little better loading of the prop (just as you predicted) and red line is reached a little later than my fixed 2 blade. I saw a one knot improvement at 3000 rpm (I also have new bottom paint...) but very smooth.
- Seems to run very smooth (better than before --- but we changed cutlass bearing as well). No vibes to be concerned with even while shifting.
- I tried reverse on it and it had equal / better performance -- seems to have less walk. I typically back my boat into the slip all the way, no problems with the new slipstream.
- Under sail -- I can feel better flow on my rudder -- no more prop rotation/drag. We saw 7.8kts under spinnaker during the Hot Rum on Sunday!! Sailing response in light condition = improved.
